Now, he’s building meaningful bonds with the next generation of producers — close to home and around the globe. During his interview for the September cover of DJ Mag North America, the star spoke of his Top 100 DJs poll placements saying, “I've been in the Top 10 for so long, so I definitely have fans, but I know that what it takes to get to number one is a little bit more about abiding by the rules of music — I can't do that.” Afrojack plays by his own rules, and the world loves him for it.
