Peter Blanc
Peter Blanc has been passionate about radio and music from the very beginning. His journey started in the early 1980s, when he hosted a Sunday afternoon request show under the alias Mr. Dynamite on a local FM pirate station in his hometown of Krimpen aan den IJssel, a small town under the smoke of Rotterdam — spinning the latest pop and disco hits for his high school peers. Two decades later, his voice returned to the airwaves as co-host of PowerZone alongside Bert Wolters. From 2002 to 2007 on Alphen Stad FM, and later from 2008 to 2009 on internet station System FM, Peter showcased the best in house and trance, building a loyal following of dance music fans. In 2024, Peter stepped into a new role as a radio news anchor for RPL Woerden, combining his presenting skills with a sharp ear for storytelling. That same year, he returned to his musical roots with Weekend Warm-up on Hot Dance Radio in The Netherlands — a weekly show dedicated to house, progressive house, melodic house & techno, and techno. Airing every Friday from 20:00 to 22:00, the show blends fresh releases, deep grooves, and guest mixes, making it the perfect soundtrack for late-night listeners and dance music lovers. From pirate radio beginnings to today’s global digital stage, Peter Blanc continues to share his love for music and radio, always with the same passion that started it all.
